Argyle Backpackers in Edinburgh, Scotland

Argyle Backpackers is a comfortable, relaxed and friendly property in Edinburgh, just off the Meadows. We are less than 15 minutes' walk from the famous Royal Mile, with Edinburgh Castle and the buzzing city centre, yet we are in a calm and relaxed part of town, with a pub, restaurant and shops nearby. We are also convenient for the university.

We have private rooms and dormitories, plus facilities including 2 kitchens, a living room, bicycle hire, free lockers, a conservatory and private garden, internet access and free tea and coffee.

24-hour access to the hostel with keys.
Check-in: 14:00-22:00
Guests arriving after this time will be charged an additional late fee of £5.

Please note: we require a minimum of 3 nights for reservations over New Year. Cancellations during this period will be charged the full amount.



AUGUST POLICY: -You will be charged a non-refundable deposit for the first night shortly after you've made the booking on-line (This is the remaining 90% of the price for the first night) -We will take cancellations for August, however YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR THE FIRST NIGHT, and if you decide not to cancel 48 hours before your arrival date you will be charged for the whole amount of your stay. -There is a MINIMUM OF 3 NIGHTS stay from 6th to 31st August. --------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE: -Our check-in time is 2pm - 11pm. PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 11PM. If you fail to give us notice we will not check you in -Cancellations must be made at least 48h in advance (by 10:30am on your arrival day) -We only accept group bookings (4+ people) if discussed with us -There is a charge of 3.5% for the use of credit/debit card (there is an ATM just around the corner form the hostel) --------------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE NEW YEAR: There is a minimum of 2 nights stay required during New Years and we don't accept any cancellation between 29 Dec - 02 Jan.
