Victorian 4* two-bedroom self-catering apartment, one mile from Royal Mile/High Street and Edinburgh Castle with free WiFi throughout and car park. Sleeps 1- 4 people with the option of an extra bed for a fifth person. The ground floor apartment with it's own main door, faces Arthurs Seat and Holyrood Park and is situated across the road from The Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool. It is walking distance to the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace and Pleasance and near to restaurants and pubs. There is a car park available 140 feet away from the apartment at 'The Salisbury Arms' pub and restaurant. It is open 24 hours and costs a nominal fee of £2 per day. Cloudberry Apartment has been newly refurbished throughout, maintaining the Victorian traditional features. The apartment is 68 sq m and has a large lounge with ornate fireplace and working fire. It has a flat screen TV with Freeview HD and DVD player. The floorboards are original throughout the apartment and there is a Victorian stained glass window in the entrance hall. ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION: LOUNGE: Bright and comfortable lounge with bay window facing Arthur's Seat with stained wooden floor, complete with a sofa, armchair and dining table with 4 chairs. There is a striking feature fireplace with decorative wooden mantel. TV with Freeview HD and DVD player. DOUBLE BEDROOM 1: Large bedroom with comfortable double bed. It has patio doors providing direct access to the rear garden. South-facing communal garden with a BBQ available on request. DOUBLE BEDROOM 2: Double bedroom with comfortable double bed. KITCHEN: Contemporary fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer & toaster. BATHROOM: Power shower/Bath/WC. Heated towel rail and toiletries. Towels and linen provided. Hairdryers in both bedrooms. Child cot/high chair available on request. Gas Central Heating. Washing machine. Iron and ironing board. Getting to the apartment from Waverley Train Station:
Walk up to the North Bridge and take a Lothian Region Transport No. 14, 30 or 33 bus from the left hand side of the road (heading North). The fare is £1.40 (adult) and 70p (child 5-15yrs) - you need the exact money as the driver does not give change! Tell the driver that you want off the bus at Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool. The apartment is on the other side of the road. Depending on your travel plans, a day pass - £3.50 (adult) and £2.00 (child 5-15yrs) might be more suitable.

Located Near
There is an excellent choice of local shops. restaurants, wine bars and other leisure facilities within close proximity, including the newly re-opened Royal Commonwealth Pool where you can enjoy an early morning swim or sauna. The Queens Hall, Festival Theatre and Holyrood Park are located near by. The Scottish Parliament building is also a few minutes drive through the park and regular bus services provide access to the city centre and surrounding area.
