Kaimes Guest House is a Victorian Building situated 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of Edinburgh. The guest house is ideally situated for you to see the sights of Edinburgh or enjoy the many clubs, pubs and restaurants that Scotland\'s capital has to offer.
Rooms at Kaimes Guest House have been tastefully decorated and including modern facilities such private bathrooms with shower, private shower only, colour TV, ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities.

This Victorian building is located in a highly desirable area of Merchiston, with Union Canal at the rear of the guest house. Edinburgh city centre and the castle are 1.5 miles away, and there is free Wi-Fi and limited free parking for 3 cars on site.
There is an excellent bus service which operates from outside Edinburgh Regency Guest House, and takes only 10 minutes to reach the city centre. The fashionable shops of Prince's Street can be reached in 25 minutes on foot.
Rooms at Edinburgh Regency are en suite, although one has its own private external bathroom. All rooms have a TV/DVD player, Ipod docking system, hairdryer, hair straightner, toiletries, biscuits and facilities for making tea and coffee.
A full cooked Scottish breakfast or a lighter continental breakfast is available each morning.

We were not informed that Kaimes Guest House was being renovated by the time we stayed there. Our room smelled badly because of the fresh paint. The breakfast room could not be used. Apart from the inconvience caused by the active renovation works we were not content with the following items: - room door didn\'t shut properly - toilet was running - very thin blanket, so it was cold in the night - poor breakfast. Only good point: the staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. Thank Christina, from Germany ~ 11th Apr 2012
