Glenallan Guest House offers a great accommodation option in an elegant Victorian house just one mile from the heart of Edinburgh.

Our Victorian charm offers original character while we endeavour to still provide guests with all the modern comforts they require during their stay in Edinburgh.Here at the Glenallan Guest House we offer three rooms for guests to choose from. Room options include our two twin rooms and one double room. All rooms are ensuite and groups and children are welcome!All guest rooms are equipped with a television, hairdryers and ironing facilities. We serve a delicious daily cooked breakfast which guests can enjoy (not included in room rates). Other amenities at the property include our private garden and car park area. Airport transfers can also be arranged upon request. We are also happy to assist you in arranging day tours to the famous Loch Ness and Loch Lomond areas in the Scottish Highlands.

This property has a 11 day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.

This is a non-smoking property. We have a 14-day cancellation policy. Fifty percent of the balance will be charged, as deposit, by the guesthouse upon booking and is partially refundable. If booking is cancelled more than 14 days before day of arrival, then 10% of total booking will be charged. If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival, or you fail to show up for your stay, then the full price of the stay will be charged. No refund is available for early departure after initial check-in, under any circumstances. All card payments will incur a 4.9% surcharge. No pets allowed. Please note that guests must contact the establishment by email only, up to 24 hours in advance of their arrival time, in order to confirm their arrival time. Unannounced arrivals (not agreed/notified with our establishment) shall incur a £30/room fee. There is a minimum stay of two nights if arriving on a Friday or Saturday throughout the year; minimum stay of two nights for all days during the month of August. All arrivals during the 29th, 30th and 31st December 2012 are subject to a minimum stay of four nights.

From the airport there's a bus service into the city centre; Also from the rail or bus station there's a regular bus service to just outside Glenallan; this takes a few minutes. If you're coming in by car then you need to take the North bridges turning from the main Princes Street, travelling downhill approximately five minutes and turn right into Brights Crescent. We're at the end of that street.

Situated approximately a mile from the heart of Edinburgh, Glenallan is an ideal base for exploring not only the historic and vibrant city centre but also the surrounding countryside and other attractions.Bus stop is just outside Glenallan and a 5 minute bus journey to city centre. buses run until 9pm.There is also a 24 hour bus route in the next street.Within walking distance to local amenities (shops, cafes, restaurants, local gift shops)An ATM is available just up the road
