Travel West out of La Fortuna toward Arenal Lake, past Tabacon Hot Springs and Resort, to a 'T' in the road at a small police station. Turn Lt. (South) on the gravel road and follow the many signs to El Castillo and Linda Vista Steak House. The next 'T', just past the Arenal Volcano National Park. turn Lt. (West) at the 'NEPENTHE' sign, continue until crossing the river bridge, then turn Rt. ('Nepenthe') sign. Continue past the Linda Vista entrance until on the left you see another 'NEPENTHE' sign, turn Lt. up the hill until you arrive at NEPENTHE.

Nepenthe Bed and Breakfast is located in the North-Central part of Costa Rica in the small town of El Castillo near the city of La Fortuna, in the County of San Carlos. We are 3.5 hours from the airport in San Jose and 2.5 hours SE of the airport in Liberia.
