In a great location with views over the whole Medina. This is by far the best place to stay in Fes! In fact, we are Lonely Planet-recommended and the winner of a Top Hostel in Africa 2012 and 2013 award and winner of TripAdvisor Excellency 2013.

With plenty of activities to choose from and daily cheap camel treks to the Sahara desert. You can do henna painting, basic Arabic classes, daily yoga sessions for girls, drum sessions and cooking lessons on demand, hammam trips and daily tours of the Old Medina. We also offer trips out of Fes to Volubilis, Meknes and Azrou to see the monkeys.

Please bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper as sound travels around this Riad, there is large interior open space and we do organise birthday parties.

This place is fun and relaxed and your hosts Leanora and Nour just want you to feel at home.

Our clientele are normally young single travellers around 24 to 40 years of age. This hostel is not suitable for people over 40 or families with babies. We also do not admit Moroccans, Algerians nationals or with origin. We are licenced as a tourist Riad only I'm afraid.

Fes is a city where the locals love to haggle and hustle, be warned that if this is your first time to Morocco the experience can be quite overwhelming in the beginning. Just go with the flow and embrace the atmosphere!

Must-Read Hostel Info

This property has specific Terms & Conditions.

Please note that by law, we do not accept Muslims, who want to share bedrooms with non-Muslims out of wedlock or Moroccans or Algerians.

Girls-only groups must be back by 11pm for your safety and no non-residents are allowed in the Riad.

We do have a nightclub with live DJ til midnight most nights, sound carries (bring earplugs if you are noise sensitive), not suitable for people over 40 or small kids, alcohol and sheisha served.

Most of our guests are under 40, we do not accept guests over 40 – sorry! If you still make a booking and are over this age limit you must accept our breakfast times and that this is a party Riad.

Please note that a tourist tax of 45 DHM per person per night is not included in our rates. Please include this in your budget calculations.

Payment is to be made on arrival in local currency or in Euros.
There is a 5% surcharge to pay your balance by credit card; the card machine will only be used if Noor or Leanora are present.

You will likely be approached by faux guides who will tell you our Riad doesn't exist in order to take you to their uncles Riad where they will get a commission. Do not engage in the services of a FG as you will be taken on a money-grabbing tour of Fes with up to 50% mark-ups on anything you purchase. If you would like an Official Guide, the Riad has three who we work with who speak amazing English, Spanish and French and you will feel relaxed, hassle-free and you will have a fair tour with no hidden costs.

Located Near

Batha Fountain is your closest stop from the bus station; we're about 10 minutes' walk from the famous Bab Beujeloud entrance gate, close to the main souks, about 20 minutes from the tanneries and Kelim Berber weavers and we even have a hammam located just five minutes from here. The closest hotel which is signposted is Riad Sheherazade and taxis can park outside this hotel. There is guardian parking here, too. BE VERY CAREFUL OF TOUTS.
