'Get your kicks' at the DuBeau Route 66 International Hostel; you don't want to miss this fun and friendly place! It's been recognized by the Let's Go Guide as 'one of the best'. Located in the heart of quaint downtown Flagstaff, it's surrounded by loads of pubs, restaurants and shopping, and is only 85 miles (137 km) from one of the Seven Wonders of the World...the awesome Grand Canyon! The entire facility has been newly renovated; 1950's style. You might just see Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley 'hangin around' in the old fashioned party room, where the jukebox cranks out the tunes, and a FREE fuss ball and pool table entertain hostel guests. Other amenities include a lounge with fireplace, laundry, 2 kitchens, FREE high speed internet and WI- FI. We also offer free drop off and pick up service from the Greyhound station between 7am and 11:30 pm (check in time is between 1pm and midnight). Accommodations include both dormitory and private rooms (private rooms need to be booked directly with the hostel). Each room has comfortable beds with fresh linen, a private bathroom and a compact refrigerator. A tasty FREE breakfast is served every morning from 7-10am and there is FREE coffee and tea available all day. Guests can choose from awesome tours to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. You'll enjoy full day excursions in our comfortable 15 passenger vans, with friendly, knowledgeable guides. These tours are definitely the cheapest around! The hostel is located ½ block from the Amtrak station, 6 blocks from the Greyhound station, and only minutes from the heart of downtown Flagstaff. FREE pickup is available from the Greyhound station from 7am - 11:30 PM. 'Pinky', our classic pink hostel car will escort you to the hostel in style!
From the South Rim of the Grand Canyon:
Take HWY 180 south, turn right on Humphreys; turn left at Route 66, and then right onto Beaver Street. The hostel is 1 block on the left.
From Page, Lake Powell and Tuba City: Take HWY 89 south to I-40 west, exit at Butler Ave. Turn right on Butler Ave, then 2 miles to San Francisco Street, turn right then left onto Phoenix Ave. Hostel is 2 blocks on the left.
From Phoenix, Tucson:
Take I-17 north, turns into S. Milton Road. Follow to 8th light, turn right on Beaver Ave, Hostel is 1 block on the left.
From Los Angeles, Las Vegas:
Take I-40 east, to first exit for Flagstaff, which turns into Route 66. Follow for 4.2 miles. Turn left on S. Milton Road to 3rd light, turn right on Beaver. Hostel is 1 block on the left.
From Santa Fe, Albuquerque:
Take I-40 west, exit at Butler Ave. Turn right on Butler Ave, then 2 miles to San Francisco Street, turn right then left onto Phoenix Ave. Hostel is 2 blocks on the left.
