Japanese Ryokan Kashima Honkan

Ryokan Kashima Honkan is a traditional guesthouse in the centre of downtown Fukuoka. Our Taisho-period building exhibits the Sukiya-Zukuri style of architecture, which represents the elements of the famous Japanese tea ceremony. We have private rooms for 1 to 4 people, equipped with television, air conditioning and complimentary amenities including yukata (light Japanese robes), towels and toiletries. Shared bathrooms are available 24-hours a day, except during cleaning.

Facilities include a coin-operated laundry, with free internet access via PC or WiFi, a reasonably-priced breakfast and complimentary drinks in the lobby. We also have a traditional enclosed Japanese garden.

From our central location, many of Fukuoka's main attractions can be reached on foot, including Nakasu (one of the biggest amusement centres on Kyushu) and Canal City Hakata (a large shopping mall). There are also a number of Buddhist temples and a famous Shinto shrine in the area.


Note: We do not have a curfew and will accept payment by VISA and MasterCard, traveler's cheques (in yen) and/or cash.

We are located in center of downtown Fukuoka City, you can get to the main attractions easily on foot.
Yukata,towel ,bath towel,tooth brush set are prepared in a guest room.
There are two personal computers in our lobby for our guests. You can use Internet with them here free of charge.
