Warning! If you have the lonely planet 11th edition you are going to be misled for Galle accommodation. Guide book politics and author misjudgment have caused great damage personally to us and more importantly depriving the guest . firstly the price factor is wrong. it says rooms between Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 which is not true. however the same lonely planet 10th edition in 2006 says room prices are Rs.1500 to Rs.2500 which was correct. commonsense prevails here where how can prices come down after 3 years! Then Khalid's have been described as a strict regime... Curfew, Pre dinner prayer and so forth. outrageous. we urge our guest to google our name and read what the reality is and what real truth is. you will find out with all fellow travelers comments and experience. majority is very positive and we are also very glad to see few negative comments which gives us a chance to improve further. finally its you who have to judge but we will challenge we are one of the most respected and best guest houses in Galle. |
