Our home has been recently decorated and to the highest standards. We are a Failte Ireland approved Bed and Breakfast. Bord Faile is the name of the Irish tourist board. Each year they inspect accommodations and give an appropriate rating. We have been awarded a 4 star rating.

Blackstones House Glencar is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. During your stay with us you can also enjoy the many leisure activities available close by which include fishing, hunting and leisurely forest walks. Killarney Town is located 40 minute drive from us, Killorglin Town is a 20 minute drive and Rossbeigh Beach is also located 20 minute drive away. Also we have some fantastic walks in the area, enjoy a nature walk through Blackstones Old Oak wood, which is now preserved under the habitats of Europe.
