The only International airport that services the Maltese islands is situated on the main island of Malta. To get to Gozo you have to board a ferry.
The ferry involves a 50 minute taxi / minibus ride from the airport to the Port of Cirkewwa situated at the northern tip of Malta. From there you will board a ferry to the Port of Mgarr - Gozo. This ferry ride is normally a 25 minute trip. From the Port of Mgarr another 15 minutes taxi / minibus ride to your accommodation.
You can get to Gozo by bus. First you board a bus from the Airport to the City of Valletta, from Valletta you board another bus to the port of Cirkewwa and from Cirkewwa you board the ferry. On arrival in Gozo you board the bus to the city of Victoria ( Rabat ), from where you board another bus to your destination. If you are travelling light and during the day this method is OK, however I would not recommend it if you have luggage.
A taxi from the airport to the ferry will cost:
1-3 persons = Eur 21.00
4-10 persons = Eur 25.00
A taxi from the Gozo Port of Mgarr will cost:
1-3 persons = Eur 16.00
4-10 persons = Eur 18.00
Just a 7-minute bus ride to the City of Victoria and a 15 minute walk to the Village of Munxar. Xlendi bay is an ideal and scenic seaside location.

Should you wish to explore and make your own way here are some direction on how to get to Villa Atlantis situated in picturesque Xlendi bay Gozo. First step: approach Xlendi bay from the Victoria City direction - as you are about to reach Xlendi bay, you will go down a slight hill you will pass the church on your right side, as you approach the parking area keep to the left side of the bay you will see the St Andrew's Dive shop, proceed up the slight hill, you will pass the Cima Restaurant and the Terrazzo Restaurant, as you pass these two Restaurants turn to the street on the left side, proceed up the Hill, turn on your right hand side on the first road. This is Tower street / Triq it-Torri in Maltese, as you just turned right you will see our Guest House on your very right side. Proceed along this street towards the end of the street, Villa Atlantis is situated at the end on your left hand side, the second before last building.
