We are a brand new small hostel in the north west part of Gran Canaria. We created a warm, welcoming place for those who want to escape from the crowded cites for a couple of days. This is a place to find beauty outside (nature, traditional architecture, art) and inside (body, soul and mind).

We have 4 rooms, 3 of them are traditional cave rooms which were built 200 years ago. The kitchen, the dining room, the common room and the dorm are modern style constructed, and we have heating in the dorm and the common area (if it is needed in the winter period). We have two terraces with spectacular view and two small rooftop terrace where you can get plenty of sunshine.
We have 3 shared bathrooms and a big patio with hundreds of local plants and flowers. You can cook in the kitchen but we also offer food, you can ask for the menu (breakfast and dinner).

The finca is located on the hill side of Hoya de Pineda facing to a large, sunny valley and the Atlantic Ocean.
The village is very small and surrounded by beautiful hills. After big rains you can see rainfalls in the area. There is one bar in the village where they also offer local food, but you will have the chance to get menu in the hostel as well. We are 15 minutes drive from the beach (many bays are around: Playa de Sardina, Puerto de las Nieves, Dos Roques, Playa de Bocabarranco, etc.)

From Las Palmas you have to take the bus nr103 (globalsu.net) to the direction to Agaete (Puerto de las Nieves) and get off in Galdar, or at the 'Lidl' bus stop just after you leave Galdar. You can get the bus in Las Palmas at San Telmo Park (main island bus station) or at Corte Inglés (in Las Canteras area). Bus ticket is around 3 €.
You will need to change to bus nr106 at 'Lidl' bus stop, or in Galdar. (bus time table from Galdar: 11.30,14.30, 17.15,19.15, Sundays: 08.00, 12.30,17.15) and get off at the entrance of the village by Hoya de Pineda. From the bus stop you will see signs showing the way to the hostel. You always need to go downhill, after a 'snake turn' you will find the church, bass by the church and follow the field road. The las house on this road is Camino Art Hostel.

By car, you have to take the road GC-220 which starts from GC-2 after Galdar (coming from Las Palmas to Agaete) turn is on the right side, saying: Piso Firme. On the road GC-220 you have to go up until Hoya de Pineda. When you are in the village, you have to go downhill until you find the little church. You have to park the car there, watch out not to block the road! Walk by the church and follow the field road. Las house on this road is the hostel.

Please make sure you know the direction of the hostel and you have the phone number where you can always ask for help.
It is not difficult to find us but always good to get ready for challenges.
Please make sure you arrive between 11 am - 8 pm.
Please always notify the hostel about your approximately arrival time!
