Hotel Puerta De Las Granadas

The hotel is located at the heart of the historical city centre, between the Alhambra Palace and the Albayzín neighbourhood, the hotel has been restored from an ancient building ot the nineteen century's end for the hotel use. It is situated in Cuesta de Gomerez Street, number 14, next to the Puerta de las Granadas (Pomegranate's Gate), which gives it name to the hotel, and the door to the Alhambra Palace´s monument.

It is a small hotel with 14 rooms, witch allows a direct and personal treatment. Keeping the architectural values of its past, it has been given a modern and functional nature according to the present times.

The hotel allows the visitors to live with the maximun comfort in the centre of the city and to, move around just walking, to the most emblematic monuments, and the trendiest and most traditional places of the city.
Everythings you want to see in Granada is at hand: the Alhambra Palace, the albayzín area, te Museums, the Festivals, the Restaurants, the "Tapas"...All in all, enjoying the city and its charms, staying in our centrally located hotel.

The fourteen rooms of the hotel are arranged as follows:

*Mauror rooms named "Doubles" are facing the hotel´s courtyard-garden and the walls of the "Carmen de Mauror" and the rest of "Cármenes" which terraces down the Alhambra´s hillside.

*Gomerez rooms named "Twin Private" facing the Cuesta de Gomerez, pedrestian street which leads to the Alhambra. From some of them, the "Torres Bermejas of the Alhambra" (Alhambra Red Towers) are easily seen. In the second floor one of them has a balcony covered with a glazed wooden structure and on the third floor, the rooms face the "Alhambra`s Torre de la Vela".
All the rooms have twin beds, except three Mauror ones which are double bedded.

For days with a minimum stay of 3 night or more, Cancellation Policy is: 7 days before arrival date no charge, and after that Full cost of the booking will be taken from your credit card.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

*DRIVING

Because of increasing traffic restrictions in the city centre, guests driving to the hotel may consider leaving the car in La Caleta Parking, outside the restricted area, and taking a taxi to the hotel. You can pay the parking directly at the hotel with a cost of 12euros/24hours, so that with the difference between what you pay at the hotel and the real price at the car park you can pay a taxi.

Driving directions:If you are coming to Granada on the A-44 (A-329/E902/N-323), take exit 125 heading towards AV. ANDALUCIA-CENTRO, continue for 2 kilometres and follow the signs to the Caleta parking garage. If GPS is used, it is located in AVENIDA DEL SUR No1.
If you are coming to Granada on Andalusia's A-92, take off at exit 230 SANTAFE and go 11 km until you get to Granada. It will take you directly to the AV. ANDALUCIA continue for 2 kilometres and follow the signs to the Caleta parking garage.If GPS is used, it is located in AVENIDA DEL SUR No1
