Guilin This Old Place Int'l Youth Hostel is under the same management of the one in Xing Ping, which has become word of mouth in the last few years. Our hostel enjoys superior location and you can find easy accesses for tranportation and other entertaining items. (walking-street is within reach only in 10minutes on foot)

Surrounded by lakes and rivers, our hostel in downtown is hidden in the centre of tranquility, and here are lust green canopies of Banyan tree, Osmanthus tree and the bridge over blue water. With the birds' symphony and blossoms' fragrance, strolling down the 4 lakes in the morning brings you great entertainment. Stone statues of lazy pigs, cute geese scatter here and there on the path along the lake, and the view of the fabulous Twin Pagoda would impress you a lot.

And we chose it here in Guilin not only for its superior location and gougeous landscape, but more out of the ambience, or the perfect environment for lebenskünstler. Guilin Library and the Old South Gate are just round the corner. Facing the Rong Lake, our hostel provides you nice perspective of the lakeview and easy contact to the local culture stuff, such as the Guilin opera performed by citizens everyday and the dancing crowds in the pleasant music. There are people playing Chinese chess or cards, practicing calligraphy with huge brush and water from the lake - the most environmental way of having fun--being together with nature, in harmony.
