Night lodge is a five minute walk from Dammtor station (Hamburgs second biggest train station).
The hostel is situated between Planten un Bloomen (large park including Japanese gardens), Sternschanze and the university, making it very much in the heart of Hamburg, with this it manages to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy city.Sunny afternoons can be spent in the nearby park or evenings in the schanze area, where you will find plenty of entertainment with many restaurants and bars.
