About The Drift Backpackers Hostel
The Drift is a new western style backpacker hostel located in central Hanoi and is owned and run by three Australian backpackers who now call Hanoi home.
We've got you covered in style with a rooftop lounge bar, billiards room, movie room, all day cafe, airport pick up service, plenty of tour options and heaps more!

Hit the bartender up for your favourite drink up in our Rooftop Lounge Bar. You'll get awesome views all over the city up here on the 8th floor, but don't panic...we've got an elevator so you won't have to climb all the way up the stairs!
Shoot it up on our Pool Table Terrace, which also has some pretty good views of the city. We've got pool competitions all the time so perhaps you can score some cold hard cash... if you're good enough!
We have 10 eight bed dorms each with private bathroom, lockers & AC. Female and Mixed dorms available
A spacious and stylish Movie Room with a HUGE 50 inch Plasma TV and surround sound. And let us assure you, it may have been a while since you've watched a movie like this!
Our ground floor Cafe is open all day everyday and we serve up some tasty western home cooked delights! Burgers, Pastas, Sandwiches and more. All at the cheapest prices in town!
Planning on seeing the sights? Be sure to book a tour with us! Our tours are well organised, good value and tailor made for backpackers. You'll see all the good bits none of the boring bits - and you'll be doing it with your fellow hostel chums!

The better of the 2 hostels I stayed in Hanoi this time. Staff always ready to assist 24hrs. Good food at the cafe downstairs, but wished they had served Asian food as well, after all this is Asia :) Everywhere in the hostel is extremely clean & dorms are comfy.
