Eurohostel is next to the Katajanokka sea terminal area, just a short walk from the sights, shops and restaurants of downtown Helsinki. Guests at Eurohostel find everything close at hand. Even the ferry boat ride to Helsinki Zoo is only 300 metres away in the summertime.

Trams #4 and #4T take you to the city centre.

How to find Eurohostel?

...from the city?
If you dont want to walk (only 15-20 minutes), just take the tram 4 or 4T.
The trams run approximately every 5 to 10 minutes.
Tram no 4 runs from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 - 01:30 and on Sundays 07:00 - 01:30. Tram no 4T runs only from Monday to Friday between 10:00 - 12:00 and 16:00 - 17:00.

...from the Railway Station or Bus Station?
Walk up to 'Lasipalatsi' tram stop at 'Mannerheimintie' street and take tram 4 to the 'Katajanokka' direction and the 7th stop (Vykatu) is the nearest to Eurohostel. Eurohostel is in front of you, bit on the right side.

You may also take tram 4T and nearest stop is called Mastokatu. You may find our hostel behind the parking area on a left hand side (50 metres). Ask the driver if you are not sure.

...from the ferry terminals?
Eurohostel is located about 300 meters from 'Katajanokan terminaali' (Viking Line -terminal) .

In front of the 'Olympiaterminaali' - Olympic Ferry Terminal (Silja Line) take tram no 3T to the centre. Get out at the 3rd stop on 'Aleksanterinkatu' street and go to the other side of the street. Take tram no 4 or 4T to Eurohostel. The 4th stop (Vykatu) is the nearest to Eurohostel.

From the Western Ferry Terminal (Tallink, Ecker Line) it is best to tram 9 to the Railway Station. Walk up to 'Mannerheimintie' street and take tram no 4 or no 4T to Eurohostel.

...from the Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport?
You may take the bus 615 to the Railway Station.

You can also take a Yellow Line taxi. This taxi company drives multi-person vans (shuttle-bus).

...by your own car?
From the city centre follow the roadsigns to 'Katajanokka' or to the 'Katajanokan terminaali' ferry terminal. After you have crossed the bridge to 'Katajanokka' follow the tramline until it divides, then choose the tramline to the left and after 100 meters Eurohostel is in the front of you.
