Ocean song self catering is a seaside safe space and you can expect to experience a relaxing sea getaway. We are situated in a suburb of Hermanus, called Sandbaai (Sandy Bay), known as the South African Riviera. We are 1 minutes walk from the sea shore and on arrival you wil be sure to smell the fresh sea aroma's of Sandbaai. Hermanus is best know for land based whale watching, but also has wonderful nature and wine estates, long white sandy beaches, high cliffs with spectacular views with sea side walk ways and is a very arty town with lots of unique restaurants. Sandbaai is known as the quiet neighborhood in Hermanus and some streets still has gravel roads, although the road to the property is tarred. The property is only 100m away from the sea shore with a beautiful sea-side walk way through the indigenous fynbos flora. DIRECTIONS:
From Cape Town - Take the N2 Highway past Somerset West, over Sir Lowry's Pass. After Houw Hoek Pass, take the R43 Botrivier/ Hermanus turnoff to your left. Travel approximately 26 km past Hawston, Vermont and Onrus. At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right at the SANDBAAI/Hemel en Aarde junction into Main Road (at Engen Garage). Continue until you reach 3rd Avenue (2nd Stop Street). Turn left into 3rd Avenue. Take first gravel road (dead end) to your right. We are the 2nd house to your right.
