Formally the home of famous Croatian poet Petar Hektorovic, House Hektorovic is ideally located, close to the town square, the harbour and cultural events, museums, numerous monuments.
Welcome to House Hektorovic - a stone house built in 13th century, situated in the centre of the town, in a quiet street in the part of the historic part of the town, just a few meters from the town square. The famous Croatian poet Petar Hektorovic owned this house. He lived and wrote in the town Hvar (1487.-1572.) House Hektorovic is in a very attractive position because of its closeness to the square, the harbor and all cultural events, museums, numerous monuments, and closeness to entertainment and night life. There is a garden in south side that separates the house from the square that makes our accommodation peaceful and quiet. At our house is a restaurant with garden where you can enjoy and taste a lot of Dalmatian authentic specialties. There are 3 air-conditioned rooms with bathrooms, refrigerators (mini bar) and tables to have your breakfast at, both rooms are on the third floor. Sheets and towels are included in the price. The southern side of the house has a view to the cathedral and the northern side to the town fortress. Please Note: Minimum Nights Stay in hi-season (1.7.-26.8.) is 4 nights. Extra bed (for 3rd person) is 10 Euro/night Price for pets is 5 Euro /night. Children under 2 years of age are exempt from paying. When you enter the square from the harbour facing the Cathedral you will see on your left side few cafe bar .
After bars and between the houses there is an entrance in the old part of the town (only street in the middle of the square-before the Pharmacy) and you will enter through the town gate.
First street on your right is Hektorovic street and in the middle there is konoba 'Zlatna Skoljka' and our house up the stairs.
Located Near
Our house is near the square in the Hektorovic street. Near the house there is everything you might need such as a market, a supermarket, a pharmacy, café bars, restaurants, tourist offices where you can rent a scooter, a car, a boat, or arrange an excursion. The distance to the city parking is 50 m, to a rocky beach 300 m, or a pebble beach 500 m. In the harbour you can rent a boat to cruise around the island or you can take a taxi boat to 'Pakleni' islands or to south side of the island Hvar.
