Welcome to Doug's Mountain Getaway We are located in the mountains in Fulpmes which is a 10-15 minute drive from Innsbruck, or a direct, 30 minute, 5 Euro bus ride. Our Chalet has not only a cinema, hot tub, chill-out lounge, sauna, table-tennis, foosball and poker rooms, but being at the base of a fantastic Austrian ski resort, we are perfectly placed to enjoy a huge range of other activities! We believe in value for money. That's why we offer so many completely free facilities in our chalets, like the: Table Tennis room Poker room Sauna Hot-tub Chill-out lounge with cinema Pool room Kitchen (with free breakfast) Boot & ski room WiFi Board games Consoles Mountain boards etc etc. There's a fireplace in the living room too, and the huge comfy sofa has been known to suck people in for the night rather than making it back to their beds! From directly outside Innsbruck train station, either get the bus (ST) which goes every half hour, or the scenic tram (STB : Fulpmes) direct to Fulpmes. The tram goes just once an hour (13 minutes to the hour) & takes longer but is a beautiful ride. Both cost 5 euro.
Bus: Get off at Bruecke (bridge) the bus stop immediately after turning into Fulpmes. Go down Muhlwiese Strasse, right by the Shell petrol station. Walk past MPREIS/Bipa supermarket. It is the 3rd house on the right, No. 12.
Tram: Go down Riehlstrasse 150m, turn left, walk past Bel Ami Restaurant (Dr Kofler Strasse) 80m, right onto Brunnachstrasse 80m, sharp left down Schmelzhuttengasse 80m, then right down Muhlwiese. It is the 1st house on the left. No. 12.
If you ever get lost, just ask for Shell Tankstelle (Shell garage) or M-Preis (pronounced M-Price).
