Martindozenea Youth Hostel, is the local public Youth Hostel of Irun, it is a modern adaptation of an old manor house, totally reformed, in the heart of a public park, very close to the city center and on the Camino de Santiago (Santiago's path) that goes through the coast.

The youth hostel is appropriate for all kinds of guests, families, sport-groups, cultural groups, etc.

Different events and activities can be hosted in its different rooms.

The youth hostel provides all facilities and there is also the possibility to obtain the youth hosteler card. Meetings and seminars can be organized. For these there are fully equipped rooms with a slide projector and a video-projector.

By car and foot:
Martindozenea Youth Hostel is on the N-1 national road, which connects the city center and the neighborhood of Ventas, this road also goes to Saint Sebastian. This one is also part of the 'Camino de Santiago' (Path of Santiago) which goes through the coast.
by plane:
Saint Sebastian�s airport is in Hondarribia, 3km away from the hostel, and it can be reached by flights from Madrid and Barcelona.

by train:
Three daily trains from Madrid, Barcelona and A Coru�a arrive every day to Irun train station. On top of that, regional trains operate to the rest of Guip�zcoa every 30 minutes. Information is available on Spanish Railway's home page www.renfe.es. From the train station to the youth hostel there are nearly 20 minutes by feet.

Located Near

run is enclosed at the easternmost part of the Basque Country, on the border with France (French Basque Country) and Navarre.
It is on top of the Txingudi Bay formed by the Bidasoa river mouth. Hendaya and Hondarribia do belong also to this natural area and both possess beatiful beaches. The bay is very beatiful and of high ecological value thanks to the high degree of harmony reached between human development and the respect to the natural environment. To this respect we can stress that Irun is located between two different ecological spaces of high interest.
The Natural Park of Pe�as de Aya in a mountainous area: A mountain massif surrounded by forests, valleys and waterfalls from which all the bay can be seen. In that area, also the roman mines of Arditurri can be visited.
