It's easy to recognize Ischia Casa della Vela from the ships arriving in Casamicciola for its warm yellow colour, the white columns and arches: surrounded by greenery, in a quiet and panoramic position yet it is only a short distance away from the sea and the centre of the village with the marina, shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. An old residential villa, it was transformed into a hotel in the sixties and it is now run by the owners who take pride in the personalized care of their guests. The combination of friendly hospitality and sailing activity creates an unforgettable experience. It is possible to choose between the accomodation in the rooms of the three star hotel or in self contained apartment. There are wide communal spaces, pool, sunbathing terraces, parking and an internet point; massages and beauty treatments are available. Our barbecue area in the garden overlooking the sea can be used on reservation to prepare your lunch or dinner in total privacy and tranquillity under the shade of palm trees. We are 150 metres from the seafront. There is a big white bar called bar topless (it is not a topless bar it was without a roof for awhile). The bustop near the bar is called bar topless from there leaving the sea to your back take the first street uphill after 100 metres you will reach a T junction go right and after 50metres on your left (before the road curves) there is a big white gate and that is the entrance to the hotel. From the port of Casamicciola we are 2 bustops away and from the port of Ischia we are 3 kms 9 stops. If coming from Ischia after getting off the bus you must cross the road
