Raasay House boasts a range of high quality accommodation and is only a scenic 20 minute ferry trip from Skye. Once the clan seat of the MacLeods of Raasay the house is set it’s own grounds beautiful grounds. As Raasay House provides accommodation near Skye it is the perfect base to explore the beautiful and unique Islands of both Raasay and Skye.

Now completely renovated and refurbished, Raasay House has 22 bedrooms of varying styles. From Deluxe Sea facing rooms to Shared Bunk Accommodation Raasay House has accommodation to suit every taste from couples to large groups.

We provide exhilarating outdoor activities for all ages and abilities.

Raasay is an island just off of Skye and can only be reached by ferry. The ferry leaves from Sconser on the Isle of Skye. Please consult current timetable information. Please especially note that Sunday sailings are very limited.

We are family friendly with an energetic outdoor loving clientele. We are located on a small island a short ferry journey from Skye. Booking the ferry in advance is not necessary. You may prefer to leave your car on Skye unless you wish to explore the North End of the island, Calums Road or Brochel Castle. You may wish to rent mountain bikes from us and explore this way. If you have booked our accommodation through this website please give us a call or email to arrange activities or bike hire.

Walk/drive up to the top of the hill from the ferry pier, turn left straight into Raasay House driveway. If you are on foot there is path from the ferry pier. It takes a few minutes to walk.

With budget flights to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness, its now even easier to travel to Raasay.
The ferry from Skye, operated by Caledonian MacBrayne , runs almost hourly in the summer, Monday to Saturday, with 2 ferries on Sunday. The crossing takes 20 minutes.l
