Our comfortable double (ensuite/shared) and twin rooms (shared) have their own LCD TVs and security boxes.

Room rates include clean sheets, duvet, duvet cover and pillow.

The all-new bathrooms have 24-hour hot water, large waterfall shower heads, foam dispensers, hygienic toilet seat covers and hair driers.

Safety is our priority. We have security cameras at key locations and 24-hour reception, while our dorm rooms have security card password locks.

Ideally located in the most historical part of Istanbul, we’re just round the corner from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and within walking distance of all major attractions in the Old City. We’re also close to bus, train, ferry and tram links.

Travelling alone or in a group, there are plenty of opportunities to socialise. Enjoy a delicious barbecue on our spectacular roof top terrace. Play backgammon, poker or chess, smoke a hookah, listen to music or just admire the breathtaking view over the Marmara Sea and Asian side of Istanbul.
We are a sociable and party-loving hostel - we hope you’re social, too!

We have free internet access on several computers as well as free Wi-Fi throughout our hostel.

Our staff are genuinely friendly and want to help. We have a free travel advisory and know just what you need to have the best holiday ever! We offer an airport pick-up and drop-off service as well as a 24hr wake-up service. We’re waiting to give you the warmest welcome to Istanbul.

We’ve opened our unique Bahaus Hostel Resort in Dalyan, also listed here on Hostelworld.com. It’s located on the Mediterranean coast in an environmentally protected area, named the Best Open Space in Europe (The Times), one of the Top 10 Best Beaches in Europe (The Independent) and the Best Beach in Europe (Dutch media). With an adjacent organic farm, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fully-equipped sports salon, pool tables and so much more. All types of tours can easily be arranged (Blue Cruise, white water rafting, jeep safari, historical etc) as well as to nearby Pamukkale, Fethiye, Mamaris, Ephesus as well as Blue Cruise.

Every day we serve a delicious free breakfast of cheese, olives, salami, eggs, jams, butter, bread, chocolate spread, tomato, cucumber, yoghurt, milk, cornflakes, dried fruits. Certain days we also serve a special Turkish omelette, pies and cake.

We have free movie nights, free karaoke nights and free bellydance nights.

In fact, we have loads of free facilities, including local phone calls (landlines only), security lockers, car and bike parking, city maps, travel info and our book exchange.

There’s no curfew and no lockout.

We have a 24-hour airport pick up service. We can collect you from Ataturk airport for 30 euros (not TL) or from Sabiha Gocken airport for 60 euros (not TL). This cost is per reservation and is for between one and four persons in your reservation in total. We will need to know your airline, flight number, arrival date and time. Please also specify if you are arriving at Ataturk airport or Sabiha Gocken airport. Please email us this information at least 24 hours before you are due to arrive.

From Sabiha airport:
You can take the Havatas (airport) bus to Taksim and from there a taxi to us or the metro/tram. If you choose to come by metro/tram, first, in the metro station, take the funicular line to Kabatas (one stop). Then take the tram to Sultanahmet. Follow the directions below once you get off at the Sultanahmet stop.

From Ataturk airport:
Take the tram to Aksaray. From there you need to cross the main road via the pedestrian subway (which is underneath the road). After you exit the subway, you will see another tram line opposite you, called Yusuf Pasa. Take the tram to Sultanahmet. Make sure you are going in the right direction! Get off at the Sultanahmet stop. Get off the tram and walk downhill. You will see a Tourist Information Office. They are open in the daytime and they can help direct you to the hostel. If not, walk through the park towards the Blue Mosque. Pass in front of the Blue Mosque on your right. (so the park is on you left) Walk down the road - you will see it curves. The Blue Hotel (Mavi Ev) is on the corner. Turn right as the road curves. The Blue Hotel is now on your left. Go past it and take the first road on the left. You will see numerous carpet shops. Walk down and then take the first road on the left. This is Akbiyik Caddesi (street). Then take the first road on the right. This is Bayram Firin Sokak (road). You will see the Bahaus Guesthouse sign on the right side of this road. If you have any problems, please phone us.

We look forward to meeting you!
