HUSH Hostel Istanbul is the first and only Hostel situated in the Asian Side. It is right in the center of Kadikoy (a fascinating entertaintment and student district). Our Hostel is a renovated wooden Ottoman villa. With its distinctive character, spacious rooms and soothing garden your experience at HUSH will surely be unusual.

HUSH is not only a hostel but also a café/bar where many cultures intersect and communicate. Visitors can also spot and/or participate in various art exhibitions at the lower level of the hostel.

It can be reached directly with local bus E-10 from the Sabiha Gokcen Airport (where cheap airlines such as ryanair and easyjet fly into). Ideal for late night arrivals, no crossing of the Bosphorus necessary .

LOCATION

Kadikoy is a large cosmopolitan district on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Turkey, on the shore of Sea of Marmara. Since the very early ages, Kadikoy has had a great scene for entertainment. Its narrow streets are adorned with varieties of cafés, bars and restaurants.

With its graceful minarets, fountains, tombs, churches, Turkish Baths, pavilions, quays, monuments and parks; Kadikoy is where history meets the current civilization. It is a vibrant port for tourism.

Moda Cape, Kalamis, and Fenerbahce inlets, with their individuality and elegance are some of the most important areas of the district. Bagdat street is also located in this area and is a popular location with all ages.

What makes Kadikoy so unique is its location. In this mystifying city, Kadikoy plays the role of a doorway to the Bosphorus with its modern transportation facilities on rail, water and land.

You can also reach many centers of the European side of Istanbul by using Kadiköy Sea Bus Station and Steamship Terminal without traffic jam by means of sea route.

DIRECTIONS

FROM THE KADIKOY PORT WALK STRAIGHT TO THE TRAMWAY RAILROAD AND CONTINUE THE TRAMWAY RAILWAYS UP TO THE SUREYYA OPERA HOUSE. FROM THERE YOU NEED TO TURN INTO NAZMI BEY SK. AND THEN TURN LEFT INTO MIRALAY NAZIM SK. WE ARE ON THE RIGHT AND WE HAVE PINK SHUTTERS ON THE WINDOWS. (10 MIN WALK IN TOTAL)
YOU CAN ALSO TAKE THE TRAM FROM OUTSIDE THE KADIKOY PORT. YOU WILL NEED TO GET OFF AT KILISE (CHURCH) STOP. GO BACK THE WAY YOU CAME FROM A LITTLE BACK AND TURN INTO SAKIZ GULU SK. AND THEN RIGHT INTO MIRALAY NAZIM SK.

From Sabiha Gökçen Airport :
Local Bus E-10 brings to Kadiköy Center (Port).

From Atatürk Airport :
Taxi from the airport to Bakirköy Sea Busses Terminal; Access to Kadıköy by sea bus. (For sea bus hours: www.ido.com.tr)
Another way is the Metro from the Atatürk Airport to Sirkeci or Karaköy. Access from Sirkeci and Karaköy to Kadıköy by ship. Kadıköy Port is on the walking distance from the hostel.
