From Kuala Lumpur you will have to take the Kuantan Highway. Exit at Mentakab ( 2 hours drive ) From Mentakab, head north to Jerantut town (45 minute drive). It take another 50 minute drive (70 kilometers) to Kuala Tahan ( Taman Negara).

Be careful driving along this stretch as the road are rough. Normal car can handle this road but it would be better with a four wheel drive.

Drive right ahead to Kuala Tahan. After about 2 hours on the road look for the junction to the left to Rainforest Resort.

Alternatively, If you intend to travel by boat, proceed to Kuala Tembeling Jetty Point (20 minute drive) from Jerantut. The journey by boat to Kuala Tahan will take 3 hours. Departure at 9.00am & 2.00pm daily. Boat Fare is RM40.00/person/per way. Call us for reservation.


For those who prefer to drive to Kuala Tembeling, car park facilities are available at Kuala Tembeling Jetty. The Rates are as follows :
RM5.00 nett per car per day.

Other Transportation :

There are public buses and taxis plying between Kuala Lumpur and Jerantut regularly. Taxi service is available from Kuala Lumpur, Johor bahru and Singapore to Jerantut.


Train services are available from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The train passes Kuala Tembeling and Jerantut. Express train does not stop at Kuala Tembeling. Please proceed on to Jerantut and find a taxi to Kuala Tembeling. If the train you take stops at Kuala Tembeling. From Kuala Tembeling train station, the Kuala Tembeling Jetty is located about half-hour walk

Strategically located in Kuala Tahan, which is National Park Headquarters, it is 70 kilometers north of Jerantut town, 260 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur and 280 kilometers west of Kuantan. It is accessible by road and by boat.
