Casa Côco Verde is a wonderful new hostel in the centre of Jericoacoara, just 250 metres from the main beach and the famous Duna do Por-do-Sol. This is THE place to watch the sunset in Jeri.

We have newly fitted-out five-bed dorms and private apartments, all with luxurious en-suite bathrooms.

Our place has a tropical garden, a courtyard with BBQ area, outdoor seating and hammocks to relax in under the papaya and palm trees while you listen to the the wind whistling above.

Breakfast is included and is available from 8.30am until 10.30am. Feel free to make use of the the communal kitchen.

We have a free book exchange, you can spend a relaxing evening with a board game or have a go at the slack line if you're feeling a bit more adventurous. And of course there is a good Wi-Fi connection throughout the whole hostel.

Our environment is perfect for chilling out with old friends or partying with new ones.

We can also book your buggy tours, kite surfing and wind surfing lessons and help you to organise transfers to your next destination.

It's one of the friendliest places in Jeri, with everyone socialising and cooking together, exchanging travel tips and stories, of course that includes us, the super friendly staff. But there is still plenty of places to settle down with a quiet book. Our aim is to create the most comfortable and entertaining environment as we can. The only thing missing... is you!!

We are much more than just a place to sleep. Come in and feel at home, take a break, have a great time, make new friends, fall in love, discover what matters, have no regrets and boa onda!

Jericoacoara is slightly more difficult to get to than other places, but that\'s half of it\'s charm.

Public transfer:

Coming from the East: The public bus company \"Fretcar\" leaves from the main bus station and the airport in Fortaleza regularly. It takes about 6 hours to get from Fortaleza to Jijoca and another hour from Jijoca to Jericoacoara. The bus ticket includes the open 4WD transfer from Jijoca to Jericoacoara.

From the West, come via Camocin, which can be reached via Parnaiba. Regular transports and buggies leave from Camocin to Jeri and take in between 1 - 3 hours.

By car:
To get here by car you will need a map or GPS because the roads are not well provided with street signs or asphaltic. You need about 6 hours to get from Fortaleza to the centre of the municipality of Jijoca of Jericoacoara. From there, you will need a vehicle with four wheel drive, or a buggy to make the final 23km through the dunes to Jeri itself. We can also arrange a 4x4 private transfer.

How to get from the Jeri bus station (\"Rua do Forro\") to Casa Coco Verde:
First have a look at our map in the foto section. It\'s probably easier to understand the following directions...

Walk through the little alley (Beco do Forro) on the opposite from the bus station (Fretcar/Global Connection Internet), cross the main street (Rua Principal), through the next little alley and turn left at \"Rua Sao Francisco\".
In front of the yellow wall of \"Pousada Patinha\", turn right (approx. 50m after the bakery \"Jeripan Padaria\"). Follow the twisting alley \"Beco do Jardim\" and then turn left onto \"Rua das Dunas\" (before \"Pousada Nostra\"). Casa Coco Verde is about 30m up on the right side . You should see our little welcome sign, a colourful painted wall and a green entrance gate.

We are looking forward to welcome you here!

Located Near

Jericoacoara is a little fishing village built in the middle of national park, full of white sand dunes and lagoons. It's located on the northeastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Ceara, 300 km north of Fortaleza. Jeri became more popular as a tourist destination within the last couple years because of it's awesome environment and the perfect wind conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing but also long board wave surfing is popular here and really good for beginners.
