About The Jerusalem Hostel
The Jerusalem Hostel offers affordable accommodation in the heart of Jerusalem to backpackers and budget travelers. We have private rooms and dormitories, all with en-suite bathrooms, cable television and air conditioning.
We are located in the new city, close to shops, restaurants, and the best of the city's nightlife. We have facilities including a roof terrace, a kitchen/dining room, a BBQ area, wireless internet and access to a communal swimming pool.
Please make bookings at least 72 hours in advance of your intended arrival date and allow 72 hours' notice for cancellations.

Rooms are on first floor, no lift but steps are easy.
All rooms no-smoking.
Good kitchen for self-catering.
All rooms have ensuite shower and toilet, television.
Reception opens from 8am till 10pm Sunday -Thursday, closes earlier Friday until Saturday after end of the Sabbath.

This hostel had 80% rating and was a huge let down. Hostels must be really bad in Israel for this place to get an 80%rating. Bed linen was dirty, towels mouldy and mattresses so soft that you have pain when wake up. Staff rude at times and lacking in customer service. Had to ask them to help my mom take her bags up the stairs. Place is shabby and in need of renovations (holes in walls). Not worth the money. I'd recommend looking for somewhere else to stay.
