Annapurna Guest House (AGH) established in 1980 is run by a friendly Thapa family. AGH is very popular as a friendly-family run budget hotel in Kathmandu.

It is Situated in the northern part of Thamel (main tourist center), it is in a quiet location, but within two minutes of walking distance to all the actions. AGH is also recommended by Lonely Planet!

AGH is a leisure place for trekkers, climbers, rafters, cyclists, volunteers, writers, businessmen and all kinds of travelers. AGH has 20 neat and clean comfortable rooms with modern facilities: shared or attached bathroom with 24 hours running hot & cold shower, cable television, ceiling fan, room heating and telephone service. It offers Economy (Budget), Standard and Deluxe category rooms at economical rates.

Annapurna Café Lounge serves you healthy foods and variety of cuisines from Continental, Chinese, Indian and the Traditional dishes of Nepal. The prices are extremely reasonable. In addition, Annapurna Café Lounge has facility of free Wi-Fi Zone.

AGH has a nice Terrace Garden to relax and enjoy soothing view of hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley with Cultural World Heritage Site "Swoyambhunath Stupa" (Monkey Temple).

Complementary Facility: Free Airport pick up service for online-booking clients and on prior notice, Welcome drink upon arrival, Luggage storage room and Safe deposit locker.

In addition, we do have our own Travel, Tours & Treks Desk (Office) in our Guest House. We provide 'free information' and also organize City Tours (Sight-seeing), Trekking, Hiking, Peak Climbing, Jungle Safari, River Rafting, Bungy Jumping, Bus and Air Ticketing, Tibet Tours and etc.
