In the heart of Thamel, it's this hostels owner that makes this hostel. Extremely nice and helpful. Not much of a 'backpaker's' hostel though, more of an economic hotel Armin, from Canada ~ 25th Oct 2009

This is an excellent place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu. Both the manager and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is dead center of the major tourist area, and pretty central for seeing some of the major temples and museums in the city.
