Set in a peaceful valley amid the idyllic surroundings of Killarney's forests and lakes, Muckross Stables Farm House is a paradise for those who love walking and horse riding. Rooms at the B&B are spacious, warm and comfortably furnished with panoramic views of the mountains and the oak tree forest, where you may see a red deer wandering past. Comfortable beds are fitted with orthopaedic mattresses and all rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast is included in the rates and evening meals can also be arranged. Just a short stroll from Muckross House and the lakes of Killarney National Park, Muckross Stables Farm House offers pony and horse trekking for all ages and abilities. Equipment is provided. Our property is home to a large pet farm, set across ten acres. Kids and adults alike will love getting to know our extensive family of animals, including ponies, sheep, puppies, chickens, donkeys, ducks, geese, deer, rabbits, miniature goats, guinea pigs and pot bellied pigs! We also have indoor and outdoor play areas for younger children, and can cater for birthday parties. We look forward to welcoming you to Muckross Stables Farm House. From Killarney, take the N71 towards Kenmare and continue for approximately 4km. On your left you will pass Molly D'Arcys pub and hotel, take the first immediate left and continue up this steep road for approximately 1.5km until you arrive at the sign for Muckross Stables on your left.
