Welcome to our cosy house, only 5 minutes from town and set against the historic Old Wall of Kinsale.
We're a B&B in Kinsale with hostel prices. Our small, friendly independent guesthouse is owner-operated. We offer free Internet, Wi-Fi and Sky TV, and most rooms have en suite or private bathrooms as well as kitchenettes. There's also a communal kitchen/dining area where you can meet your fellow travellers and make some friends. Although we don't provide breakfast, our self-catering facilities are sufficient to cook your own. Why not take your breakfast out to our lovely terrace in the garden? Our quiet residential street is only a few minutes walking distance to Kinsale town centre. This is an important historic house built 400 years ago to house the Officers of the Cork Garrison. The soldiers drew water from the well in the garden when they returned from the battlefield, and retired to their huts in the walled garden. The house has since been extended and modernized. The Historic Old Wall of Kinsale runs along the rear of the garden. |

Kinsale is in County Cork on the South Coast of Ireland, on the bus route from Cork City. The house is very near the town centre where there are shops, restaurants, pubs , galleries, craft shops, etc. There are nearby beaches, scenic walks, a yacht harbour, golf courses, fishing, water sports and more. Desmond Castle has a Wine Museum and the French Prison, and is in Cork Street, minutes from Joys Accommodation.
