Ko Kheaw 40 in Koh Samui, Thailand

We received an email from the owner which was nice and welcoming, her son did not speak English but she was helpful. This place was cheap and unique. Our initial fear that we would be sleeping near the chickens was scuppered and we had clean en suite rooms in a safe location. It was nice to be away from the main strip and see more local areas of Kho Samui. The other places are over priced in comparison and too resorty. Ideal for backpackers who don't mind simplicity. did not stay here as did not have twin beds an we were not told untill we arrived even tho we did specify on the booking they also took payment for 1 night even tho it was their mistake, the place looks like an old stables the staff dnt speak english or even acknowlege u and the area is no way central we were escorted tehre by a prostitute cos we cudnt find it also mini bus frm airport doesnt go here drops u off abar 10 mins walk frm here craig, from England ~ 11th May 2009
