Travellers Inn Private Rooms can be found beneath Wawel Castle, just a short walk away from the main square and Jewish District or Kazimierz - which is now krakow's main pub and café district. The hostel offers free breakfast, free internet (also WiFi), free linens, free washer and a very central location. There is a meal cooked for all guests every Thursday evening which is the perfect place to meet new people and swop travel stories. The hostel offers free walking tours around Krakow and visit experience real Polish life- these walks take place nearly every Friday and Saturday. For those of you who wish to visit Krakow at your own pace, the hostel have a Krakow kit- a short guide to places the hostel staff love about Krakow and the surrounding areas

Our hostel is one of the friendliest and longest established hostels in the city. A) From the Main Train and Bus Stationin KrakowTram or BusTo get to the city from the bus station walk throughthe train station or the Galeria Krakowska Mall tothe square in front. Then you�ll have to go underthe street to get to the tram / bus stop -- take alook at the map to see where. Before boardingthe tram or bus you�ll need to buy a ticket in akiosk if it�s open (say �bilet normalny�) or fromthe machine on the tram or bus (with coins only,no notes).Take tram no. 2 or bus no. 522. If you go by tramyou should get off at the 3rd stop (by bus it�sthe 2nd stop). In both cases the stop is called�Filharmonia�. Follow Floriana StraszewskiegoStreet (just go straight) and take the secondturn if you came by tram or the fi rst if by bus)to the right. You�ll be on Plac na Groblach, andwe�re here at No.8.WalkIf you have some time to spare (about 20-30 min.), the weather is nice and you�re notweighed down by a gigantic backpack, why notwalk here? It is a nice stroll and will give you agood fi rst look at the city.Walk through the pedestrian subway towardsthe city center. Take the exit straight ahead,and after reaching the top of the hill, continuewalking to the left. The path goes via Planty (thepark stretching around the Main Square area).After a while you�ll see Dominikańska street (withtram tracks) crossing the Planty. Take it to theright. Go straight (it turns into Franciszkańska)until it crosses Straszewskiego street. Then turnleft onto Straszewskiego. The First turn on theright is Plac na Groblach. You�ll fi nd our hostelhere at No.8.B) From the Krakow Balice AirportTrainTake the train from the Airport and get off atthe Main Railway Station. Follow the instructionsgiven on the left of this page. The train leavesevery 30 min and costs 8 PLN. The whole journeytakes 15 minutes. You�ll get on the train about200m from main airport terminal, and there�s afree bus every few minutes if you don�t want towalk. You can buy your ticket on the train.BusTake bus No. 292 and get off next to the lowerplatform of the Main Bus Station (Dworzec Gł�wnyWsch�d). Then follow the instructions on theleft. The journey takes 45 minutes and requiresa one-way ticket (called bilet normalny).TaxiTaking a taxi to the hostel from the airport costsabout 75 PLN.ArrivalIf your arrival plans have changed sincecontacting us, or if you�ll be late for somereason please let us know by SMS to the mobilenumber listed below. Staff is waiting for you atthe private rooms from 8:00 until 14:00, andif you arrive outside this time someone will bethere especialy to meet you. For this to happen,though, we need to know what time you willarrive. If you arrive unexpectedly, however, andcontact the mobile number listed below someonewill be there in about 20 minutes to check you inand give you your keys. After this you can comeand go whenever you want.
