A traditional Malaysian shop-house has been renovated to create Tropical Guesthouse, a value-for-money property in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. We have cozy, air-conditioned guest rooms decorated in warm colours, and bathrooms featuring solar-panel-heated showers. We also provide comfortable lounge areas where guests can socialize and swap travel stories or watch DVDs. WiFi is available to anyone with their own wireless device. Breakfast and laundry facilities are also available. We are located in Bukit Bintang, the city's prime business, commerce and entertainment district. A plethora of bars, restaurants and shops are available in the immediate vicinity, and major tourist attractions can be reached in a matter of minutes, including the Petronas Twin Towers, the KL Tower and the vibrant Chinatown area. a number of convenient public transport options can be found nearby, including several monorail stations within walking distance. Tropical Guesthouse & Hostel is about a 10-15 minutes walking distance off Jalan Bukit Bintang, which is the most happening street in downtown Kuala Lumpur (KL).
If you are flying into KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), Tropical Guesthouse is approximately 50 minutes by taxi or alternatively you may take the KLIA Express (fast train) from the airport to KL Sentral that only takes 28 minutes. The train-fare is RM35 (approx US$9). From KL Sentral you can either take a taxi for RM10-15 to the guesthouse, or take the monorail if you don't have much luggage.

From KL Sentral, you can grab a cab to Tropical Guesthouse. Else, if you do not have much luggage, you can always take the Monorail to Bukit Bintang Station, near our Guesthouse.

Located Near
We are centrally located within KL City, in the middle of the Golden Triangle (China Town, Bukit Bintang and Petronas Twin Towers). Our property is merely a 5 minutes walk from Jalan Bukit Bintang where there are plenty of shopping centers (Lot 10, Sungai Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Pavillion just to name a few) and also bars and restaurants (along Changkat Bukit Bintang and Bukit Bintang). To get to the Petronas Towers, you can either take a cab, or monorial and transit to a Putra LRT line that takes you direct to the Twin Towers. Since we are in the middle of the city, there are food stalls all around our guesthouse. Jalan Alor, famous for all sorts of local food is just round the corner beside us.
