Sayang was acceptably clean, the staff very friendly and the pool was great for meeting fellow travelers. I would definitely recommend it for anyone on a budget. :)

Traveling through Thailand and Malaysia to Bali, we have slept in many 'scruffy' hostels and guest houses. This was by far the worse! Unfortunately the room was not very clean and didn't even host any form of sink for washing. The swimming pool water didn't seem pleasing enough for the laundry. After a night from three we took our losses and ran!!!!
