A traditional Kyoto inn was renovated and remodeled to create the original Gojo Guest House, a budget hostel offering clean accommodation and a fun environment for international backpackers. Our air-conditioned, single-sex dormitories feature tatami matting and futons for an authentically-Japanese stay. All bathroom facilities are shared. We are located near Gion, the home of Kyoto's famous geishas, and are within walking distance of several major attractions, including Kiyomizu Temple, Kodaiji Temple, Kenniniji Temple, Kamo River, Sanjusangendo Temple, National Museum, Yasaka Shrine, Maruyama Park and Minamiza, the home of Kabuki.
