Hirashin, Shijo Karasuma in Kyoto, Japan

Conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto, Hirashin is a traditional Japanese inn with more than 140 years of history. We offer a range of private, en-suite accommodation, all in the authentic Japanese style (futons and tatami flooring). Our spacious rooms are equipped with air conditioning, televisions and refrigerators, and amenities such as towels and toiletries are provided.

We are located just a 3-minute walk from Shijo-karasuma Station, with easy access to major sightseeing spots. We are within walking distance of the Imperial Palace Park. Despite being situated in Kyoto's entertainment district, the area surrounding our ryokan is a quiet neighbourhood.

We have no less than 4 public baths at Hirashin, two for men, two for women. Yukatas (light Japanese robes to be worn after bathing) are provided in the guest rooms. Breakfast and dinner consisting of traditional Japanese dishes are served upon request. In addition, a convenience store can be found within 5 minutes' walk. Bicycles are available for rent.
