A small guesthouse, featuring a traditional Kyoto-style townhouse, quiet retreat-like surroundings, convenient location, and a fun experience in our neighborhood. Our guesthouse is a refurbished townhouse situated in a narrow alley in the Murasakino area, where an old townscape remains. A transit hub in northern Kyoto (Kitaoji subway station and bus terminal) is within walking distance. Enjoy strolling around Daitokuji Temple, Nishigin, Kitayama, and the Kamo River. In our neighborhood, have a fun experience exploring the different public bathhouses as well as Shin-Omiya Shouten Dori, the longest shopping district in Kyoto. We hope that your stay at the Small World Guesthouse will help you feel the timelessness of Japan.
