we're exchange students in nagoya, and came to visit kyoto during break. the hostel about a 15 min walk from kyoto station. we had a private room for 5, so it was private, clean, and secure. lot of fun nights on futons in the tatami mat room. however, although we were on the top floor, traffic on the road next to us was loud at times.
