The lounge, heated by a coal-burning stove, is cosy and peaceful. The landscape around Durness Youth Hostel is wild and spectacular. It's a land of mountains and sea, cliffs and waterfalls, beaches and rainbows. On a clear night the starry skies are phenomenal! Durness is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. |

By Car:
Durness is on the A894 from Ullapool, and the A838 from Tongue.
On Foot:
Walk along the A894 from Durness village going towards Tongue. After 1 mile the hostel is on the left.
