Living Lounge can be found in the heart Lisbon's tourist district between the Chiado and Baixa district. Lisbon's nearest beaches are just a short train ride away as is the Bairro Alto, Lisbon's main nightlife quarter.
The hostel offers double, single and dorm rooms which are individually designed by local artists to display Lisbon's rich culture. Each room is set out differently but designed with the highest level of security and comfort.
The hostel's spacious downstairs lounge area is the ideal place to listen to music and meet people from around the world. There is also an upstairs roof garden which is the perfect place to read a book and relax or catch up with friends or swop stories with your fellow travellers. From the airport:
Take the METRO (red line) to Alameda and change for the green line. Exit at Baixa Chiado. Exit through Rua do Crucifixo. Once there, turn left until you find our door.
Catch the bus 91 (Aerobus) and stop in Rossio Square. From there find Rua Aurea and then walk in the direction of the river. Turn in the second street on the right (Rua da Assuncao) and you'll find our street.
A taxi should cost 8 to 12, depending on the hour and day of the week. The best way is to buy a voucher at the airport its secure and avoids overpriced rates.
From Gare do Oriente Train Station:
Take the red line on the metro to Alameda station. Change there to the green line going in the direction of Cais do Sodre and get off at Baixa-Chiado. Exit in the direction of Rua do Crucifixo and youll find our street right in front of the exit.
A taxi should cost around 10. Always ask for a receipt.
From Santa Apolonia Train Station:
Take the blue line on the metro to Baixa-Chiado. Its the second stop. Journey time is about six minutes.

From Sete Rios Train Station/Bus terminal:
Take the blue line on the metro and to Baixa Chiado. Take the Rua do Crucifixo exit and youll find out street right in front. Journey time is about 20 minutes.
Bairro Alto (5 minutes) nightlife area with restaurants, bars, clubs.
Rossio and Chiado (1 minute). Area with Museums, Monuments, Cafs, restaurants and shoping.
Cais do Sodr (7 minutes). Area with a renewed nightlife, concerts, clubs. There is a train station to the nearest Beaches.
Castle So Jorge 5 min. walking as well PRAA DO COMRCIO.
