Rua Augusta is one of the most famous streets in all of Portugal as it is in Lisbon city centre; therefore, you'll find it easy to get transportation here from anywhere in the city. It's a pedestrian street that goes from Rossio to Praca do Comercio, the two main squares.
We're four blocks away from the arch on Praca do comercio, you will find us at number 89.
From Lisbon Airport:
Metro: Red line to 'Sao Sebastiao' - change to Blue line and go until 'Baixa-Chiado' (exit through Rua do Ouro), walk straight till you get to Rua Augusta and turn right - 1.40 eur
You can also take 'Aerobus' and get off at 'Praca do Comercio'. This service runs from 7.45am to 10.30pm and takes about 30 minutes; the fare is 3.50 eur.
A Taxi from the airport takes about 15 minutes and it shouldn't cost you more than 15eur. We recomend you to buy a 'Taxi Voucher' at the airport.
From Santa Apolonia Train Station:
Take bus 9, 47, 746 or 759 and get off at Praca do Comercio. The fare is 1.75 eur.
Alternately, take the blue line on the metro to Baixa-Chiado station (fare 1.40 eur). Take the Rua do Ouro exit and walk straight until you get to Rua Augusta and turn right.
A taxi will cost about 6 eur. Always ask for a receipt.
From Gare do Oriente Train Station:
Take the red line on the metro in the direction of Sao Sebastiao and get off at Alameda station. Change here to the green line, going in the direction of Cais do Sodre, and get off at Baixa-Chiado station. Take the Rua do Ouro exit and walk straight until you get to Rua Augusta and turn right. Total journey time is about 20 minutes and costs 1.40 eur.
A taxi will cost about 15 eur and take 15 minutes. Always ask for a receipt.
From Sete Rios Train Station/Bus terminal:
Take the blue line on the metro to Baixa-Chiado station. Take the Rua do Ouro exit and walk straight until you get to Rua Augusta and turn right. Total journey time is about 20 minutes and costs 1.40 eur.
