Lesnaya 7 is located in Bolshie Koty on the Lake Baikal shore.
It is only reachable by ship or a 20km walk along the shore from Listvyanka.
Instead of the expensive hotels and souvenir stands in Listvyanka,
Bolshie Koty has exclusively wooden houses, free-roaming horses and cows -
there are no cars in the village.
If you want to experience Lake Baikal without the tasteless commercialization of
Listvyanka, and don't have time to go to Olkhon, Bolshie Koty is the place to be.
