From Piombino railway station follow indications for the port ('porto'). You go straight on in the same street, Viale Regina Margherita. When you gets to the roundabout turn right and enter the small squares with ferry boats's ticket offices and a bar, cross it to the opposite site. take the road on your right that gets you up to the private hotel parking and etrance.
If you arrive directly from the port, just ask for the hotel location, our hotel is just in front of it.

The hotel is in an excellent position on a hill, in the port area of Piombino, and is about 200 metres from the ferries for Elba, Corsica and Sardinia. It is within easy reach of local places of cultural, archaeological and naturalistic interest such as the Etruscan necropolis at Baratti, and the enchanting medieval village of Populonia - both only a few kilometres away. Trips can easily be organised to more distant locations such as Pisa, Florence, Larderello, San Gimignano and Volterra. From Piombino small beaches can be reached which nestle into green countryside. In the town itself there is an archaeological museum, a marine biology research centre, as well as a variety of monuments like the ancient port, the church of S. Antimo and the castle of the Appiani. Visits to the Wine Road and to the Val di Cornia Park are absolute musts in any stay in Tuscany.
