Astor Hyde Park is located in South Kensington. Kensington Gardens which is the former home of Princess Diana is just minutes away. Other interesting places in the area include the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum. You can hop on the Tube and be on Oxford Streets in just a few minutes as well as the theatres in West-End London, Harrods and if you fancy doing a bit of shopping and eating out, High Street Kensington is the place to go.
Recently renovated, you will enjoy modern living in a traditional English accommodation. The wonderful wooden staircase and panelling maintains the Victorian style character. Our 33 guestrooms are decorated with modern designs and are comfortably spacious. All rooms are en-suite and for extra security, key card access is available as well as security cameras around the building as we believe that security is extremely important.
A stainless steel kitchen, 2 lounges and a large dining area are all available for guests use. Sky and Digital TV are available and you can enjoy watching matches on a projector in style.

From Gloucester Road Station:
Turn left out of the station. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Cromwell Road. Continue until you get to the next set of traffic lights and turn left up Queens Gate. The hostel is on the right hand side about 200m from the end of the street. (Please note Piccadilly line is closed at Gloucester road until mid December, circle and district lines will operate as normal).
From South Kensington Station:
Take the right hand exit out of the station. Turn right onto Cromwell Place. At the end of the road turn left onto Cromwell Road. At the traffic lights turn right onto Queens gate, The hostel is on the right hand side about 200m from the end of the street.
From Heathrow Airport:
Take the Piccadilly Line into London and get off at Gloucester Road station. Then simply follow the instructions above to get to our hostel.
From Gatwick Airport:
Take the Gatwick Express (or similar trains) to London Victoria Station. From there, take the Circle or District lines, westbound until you get to South Kensington station and then simply follow the instructions above to get to the Astor Hyde Park.
From Stansted Airport:
Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street. From their take the Circle line to Gloucester Road station. Then have a look at our directions above to get you to our hostel.
You could also take a bus from Stansted (when all the trains have gone) which will take you to Victoria Coach Station. From there, cross the road to the underground and take the Circle line to Gloucester Road station.
If you have, however, taken the bus from Stansted because there is no more underground service, please take the N52 night bus from Victoria Station and just tell the bus driver you are going to Queens Gate hell let you know when you get there. Theyre very nice like that! The stop is the Royal Albert Hall and is just around the corner from the hostel.
Located In South Kensington next to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Walking distance to Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace, Albert Hall. For shopping Harrods, Harvey Nichols and High Street Kensington is in the neighbourhood. Tube stations: High Street Kensington, South Kensington and Gloucester Road.
