This was a great location! We walked everywhere in london from here and the only time we had to use public transit was at 1am from Heathrow, which if you get in that late and stay here take the N10.

The bedrooms were always well-cleaned, but the bathrooms were periodically dirty or not working. The showers were probably my least favorite part of the hostel, but all in all I had a very good experience at the Astor Museum. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. I did find the breakfasts pretty unappetizing, nothing was labeled or packaged. The 12 person bedrooms have nice high ceilings and therefore don't feel crowded at all!

The staff was amazing. If I needed any directions, help, or general advice, or more often a friendly chat in the middle of the night, someone friendly and endearing was always available. I highly recommend this location.

My stay at Astor Inn was such a great experience, staff was really helpful and cool and I like the hang-out place by the reception. A few pointers though: There is an ANNEX to this hostel that I was shoved into, which was unexpected. It is only 3 minutes away from the hostel itself but it was still kind of annoying, especially since I was on the 5th floor (no elevators, terrifying spiral staircase). The carpeted floor here is extremely dirty and CREAKY!! SO creaky it will wake you up gu
