The Saint James Backpackers hostel is a family-run hostel that has been accommodating global travellers in central London for over 45 years. We have just undergone a major refurbishment and now operate a range of rooms, from dormitory rooms with bunk beds through to private en-suite rooms. We also offer FREE DINNER!!! Please note that there are limited spaces for dinner; you must sign up at reception each day before 16:00, signup is done on a first come first serve bases. THE LOCATION:
Located in the center of London (Kensington/Chelsea - zone 1), the nearest metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away and connected to the main lines (District and Piccadilly lines). Our perfect location allows you to easily see what this great city has to offer. With the metro, reach: Leicester Square or the Big Ben in 20mns, Hyde Park in 15mns, Notting Hill or Harrods in 10mns. Walking, get easily to: Holland Park in less than 10mns, to the Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert museums in 15mns.
DIRECTIONS TO FIND US:
From Heathrow airport: take the metro (Picadilly Line) directly to Earls Court Station (about 45 minute journey). Exit at the Earls Court Road exit and turn left. Walk up Earls Court Road and take the fourth road on the left - called Longridge Road (less than 5mns walk). We are on the left hand side.
From Gatwick: take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria. Then take the metro (District Line heading Westwards) to Earls Court.

We are based in Kensington / Chelsea, central London (Zone 1 on the public transport system). The nearest unedrground / metro station is less than 5 minutes away and Leicester Square is a 10 minute metro ride from there.The Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert museums are a 15 minute walkfrom the hostel.
