Home to The O2 areana Greenwich Mean Time, UNESCO world heritage site and The Prime Meridian of the World (0° longitude), Greenwich is a great area in London. Hop on a train and be at London Bridge in 8 minutes, Westminster and the famous Big Ben is only a 30 minute scenic boat ride, enjoying other views of London on the way.
There are many museums and also the Observatory in the area. Take a relaxing walk through the streets of Greenwich and the Royal Park with the boating lake, deer sanctuary and view London from Greenwich Hill. Visit the world's last tea clipper ship, Cutty Sark and many markets selling goods from food to antiques.
If you fancy a livelier scene, there are 52 restaurants and pubs in the area. Greenwich has a great nightlife; with 20,000 students, a great young and vibrant atmosphere is created. If you don't feel like going far, our Belushi's bar offers great discounts for guests on food and drink, drink deals, live music, DJ's every night and a great atmosphere. There is also a theatre in the loft for guests to watch premiers. There is no curfew so you can party all night!

If you'll be arriving after 11.30pm please advise the hostel. Photo identification in the form of a driver's licence or a passport is required at check-in. You pay for your room upon arrival but please make sure your credit card is valid. Cards are verified the night before arrival and bookings with invalid credit cards may be cancelled. If you have booked using a debit card, you must contact the hostel at least 24hrs before you arrival to confirm.

Greenwich is on the Overland Train routes - which start from Charing Cross (for Trafalger square), Waterloo East or London Bridge. The trains run every 15-20 minutes at peak hours and every 30 minutes at all other times. Alternatively the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) runs about every 10 minutes from Canary Wharf.
From Heathrow Airport:
Catch the underground to Canon Street or London Bridge and then the overground train to Greenwich. The hostel is next to the station on the left in the courtyard. Youll need to pass through the subway to get here.
From Victoria Station Train and Coach Station:
Catch the Circle or District Underground lines to Cannon Street and then the overground train to Greenwich.
From Gatwick Airport:
Take the Thameslink train to London Bridge and then connect to the overground trains to Greenwich.
Take the train to London Liverpool Street, then the central underground line to Cannon street and then the overground train to Greenwich.
From Waterloo Station:
Take the Jubilee underground line to London Bridge and then the overground train to Greenwich.
By Docklands Light Railway:
Catch the underground Central Line to Bank Station and hop on the Docklands Light Railway a few short stops to Greenwich. It drops you at our front door. It's also a great way to see many sights in London.
The Hostel is a mere 8 minute overland train ride to London Bridge. From London Bridge you can explore all the top attractions on foot, including the Tower Of London, Tower Bridge, the Tate Modern, The London Dungeons and even St Pauls Cathedral, via the Millennium Bridge.
Take the same train and get off two minutes later at Charing Cross to see Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Westminster Abby and the Houses of Parliament, via the Victoria Embankment river side walk. You can even walk via The Pall Mall and Green Park - to see Buckingham Palace.
