St. Christopher's Southwark is a traditional style hostel, full of culture and history which was once a Coaching Inn and dates back to the 1500's. You can enjoy traditional Fish 'n' Chips with a pint of ale in our downstairs pub.
We are centrally located in London within walking distance from sites and attractions such as River Thames, Tower Bridge, the famous Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. There is no curfew so you can stay out and enjoy the great London nightlife.
The Borough market is also a must see site, packet with great specialty food, fruit, vegetables, organic foods and much more which gets comfortably busy on weekends. There are also many cafes to choose from where you can grab a coffee and chill at the side of the markets.
When you are checking-in, please note that the reception is at St Christopher's Village. Here you can enjoy the comfy chill out room with a large TV which is available to Southwark guests. We also have a bar where you can enjoy great music and 10% discounts on food and drinks, satellite TV and fun, friendly staff. Our rooms range from 2 bed rooms to 8 bed dorms.
Over the years, our hostel chain has received some great reviews from travel guides such as Lonely Planet London.

Located Near

Living in London' centre has you walking to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. These are the kind of attractions that don't need introduction or explanation and the reasons that thousands of tourists come to London every year; theyre all part of your new neighbourhood. There is also the Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also carries specialty food, seafood and organic/fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must-sees of England's capital. Grab a latte at one of the cosy market-side cafs and watch the world go by.
